Soft corals, unlike their stony counterparts, do not build a rigid calcium carbonate skeleton, making them more flexible and often easier to care for. These corals can provide a range of textures and colors, thriving in a variety of lighting and flow conditions. Soft corals are excellent choices for beginner reef aquarists.
