"Why", you may ask.

"Why", you may ask.

I’d be lying if I said acros were easy to take care of. Not enough light? Bye-bye. Not enough flow? Sayonara. Alk drops half a point while you’re at work? You’ll be coming home to a bald stick.

But there’s truly something about them that keeps drawing me in.

I don’t know if it’s the macro shots - the ones where you finally see the polyps extended and realize the piece you’ve been walking past for two months has been quietly building an entire city - or the moment a colony you nearly gave up on starts throwing colors you've only seen on a Pantone color wheel and you catch yourself standing in front of the tank at 1am as if you have nowhere to be tomorrow.

Probably both.

They’re not easy. That’s sort of the point.

Either way, that’s the pull. And it’s why we can’t keep these corals in stock.
